Water and 'The Subconscious'

Water and 'The Subconscious'

We all know that what we visually project onto our subconscious mind can change us in profound ways. I’m sure you've heard the analogy "You are what you consume".

But how does water have any correlation with the subconscious mind?

Water is often used to represent the depths of the human psyche such as hidden emotions, instincts and undercurrents that we often suppress.

“The Hidden Messages in Water” by Japanese author Masaru Emoto demonstrates how water has the ability to copy and memorise information.

His experiment showed how water forms beautiful ice crystals when spoken to with Love and Gratitude, and chaotic ice structures when spoken to with hurtful words.

Highlighting the power of human emotions and its capacity to shape our thoughts, feelings, and behaviours.

Water is impressionable, just like your subconscious mind. You are a power source that can reprogram yourself.

In a world full of distractions, the choices that we now make become the bedrock for the future.

We could interpret the water serpent rising out of the water hole, as ascending from the deep unconscious mind.

The metaphor of water is so powerful because it resonates on multiple levels, from the personal to the universal, reflecting the vast, often unexplored depths of the human mind.

The reflective quality of water can represent introspection and self-exploration. Its capacity to surround and engulf can symbolise the immersion into one’s subconscious.

The human psyche and the human imagination are gateways to the realities that we desire. With endless possibilities and potentialities. Our job is to actualise it and make the change we want to see in this world.

As we now know, water can hold and transmit information, which makes it a powerful medium for reprogramming the mind.

With many cultural traditions, water is often used for purification and renewal. The same way the rain is used to cleanse the earth, water is used to cleanse the spirit.
